Children's animated adventure. Mr Cherrywood (voice of Mickey Rooney) runs an orphanage and one night, he tells the children a story about the Care Bears who live in Care-a-Lot and travel to Earth looking for people to cheer up. When Nicholas (Hadley Kay), a magician's apprentice, accidentally unleashes an evil spirit from inside an old book, he is brainwashed into helping the spirit in its quest to remove all traces of caring from the world.
Can the Care Bears and their new friends Jason (Sunny Besen Thrasher) and Kim (Cree Summer Francks) work together with the Care Bear Cousins to save Nicholas and defeat the evil spirit?
